OK, removing the TV to add a cable is a bit of a pain. You need to carefully unscrew the two mounting screws on the top bar with a LONG screwdriver. Then lift the TV off the mount. Attach your cable. Put TV back onto mount and re-tighten screws. I bought a #2-12" Phillips head screwdriver just for this purpose. It was cheaper to buy the right tool that risk dropping my TV! If you will need to disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable often I suggest getting a short HDMI (or USB or whichever cable you need) extension and leaving it attached to the TV so that you can reach the cable without having to remove the TV, once it is setup. I used an 8" HDMI extension and it works great.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Being a fixed mount, you’d have to take down the TV.
