Will it fit with a 40 inch insignia TV null

no it will not as that is to large of a TV to hold it safe.

This size exceeds the specifications for this mount. Weight is also a consideration. I would choose a different wall mount designed for a larger, heavier TV.

This wall mount works with most 39" flat TVs.
