• We have this mount. The parts of the mount that hooks to the TV slides on a rail on the wall mount. 2 cords are attached to them. When pulled, the Tv can be removed from the wall in seconds. The TV can shift approximately 6 to 8 inches from center, left or right.

• The amount of lateral shift will depend on how far apart your mounting screws are on the back of your tv. The mount is similar to a French cleat. The top hooks on the top, then locks at the bottom. All you have to do is slide the tv from one end of the wall mounted portion to the other, pretty much with finger pressure. There are stops designed into the brackets to prevent pushing the tv off the end of the mount.

• Depends on the dimensions of the television and you shift it by using the mounting bracket bolt locations along the back side.
