It will work for a Samsung TV up to 70", but it's a solid mount, meaning you can't turn or rotate the TV once it's mounted. I had a generic TV that was 42" and it worked for that, and once I upgraded to a 65" 4K UHD I had no worries about the TV other than lighting in my basement reflecting off the screen.

Yes it will but because all tvs are not alike. You may have to shim the back with washers (1/4-20) in size but really depends on the TV.
