Contrary to what another poster wrote, I could found no stated spec for this tablet's DPI here on Best Buy's site, nor on the datasheet or in the users' manual available on Insignia's website. But an 8" 1280x800 screen "should be" approximately 189 DPI, with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you mean DPI, I believe it is 213. I've seen higher DPI screens; however, this is more than adequate for my use. Text is sharp and clear and even dialog boxes in comic books are clear and easy to read (hand drawn text is not perfectly straight which is difficult to read on low DPI screens because it is too jagged). Just be aware that you'll need to order a screen protector from a 3rd party. The screen is just glass and can scratch easily.
