Will this work with Chromecast on a non-smart hdtv? null

Those are two different questions. The tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 which has Miracast built in, so it will work with any smart TV. I tested it with Google Chromecast on one of my non-smart TV which has Chromecast hooked up. It does work flawlessly.

The Chromecast makes your HDTV a smart TV(ish). Thats the point. So yep.
