“Does anyone know if the texture of this mouse pad is like the discontinued Rocketfish double sided speed/control pad from way back? I've had the rocketfish one since about 2007 and its gotten worn down and I want to replace it.”

It's exactly the same but smaller and different colors. I had the rocketfish one and the size is a little disappointing and more for portability.

Please try again later.I am not familiar with the Rocketfish, but I can tell you that the texture on one side is slightly rough to the touch; about the same consistency as a traditional foam mouse pad might be. The other side is smooth and slick. It offers little resistance and works well on my gaming mouse. I hope this helps in some way!

Please try again later.JoeDio.........you can read my review, I'm not sure about your Rocket Fish pad but this one does have two sides one for control and the other side for speed and great for gaming. I wouldn't be afraid to try it I think it will do what your Rocket Fish pad has done for you over the years. BIG difference gaming with this pad over my other pad!
