“I see that there are two plugs in the set that appear to be the round type for Europe (I'm going to Paris). Will both of them work there or is the larger one actually a different kind? I've never been to France so unfamiliar with their outlets. Thanks!”

The adapter does work in France. The kit includes a labeled direction for each country outlet type. Additionally, certain hotels in France had foreign outlets (England) in addition to typical France. This adapter can be separated into a maximum of two (2) outlet plugs where you can then charge on both the French and English ports with this single adapter kit. Very necessary.
