“Using this with a Black and Decker Type G heater purchased online. The specifications say the heater is 2000W, 220-240V, 50/60 Hz max 13A. Will it be ok to use as an adapter to Type B US grounded plug running at 220V? I assume it will but wanted input.”

This Adapter is not a converter, it just simply plugs a 240/110V Euro plug to the U.S. You need a converter that will take a 240 and down volt it to a 110v. Unless the unit says 240v-110V DO NOT use this plug. This plug is also a 10A max rating. If you end up buying a converter make sure it has a rating of 13A at least and can handle whatever wattage that heater takes. The reason I'm emphasizing this is that you can cause serious injury and fire hazards if not careful.
