This works for the universal adapter I bought from Germany since it has a 240v-110v. This has a rating of 10A max. This will not work if the power source from outside the U.S is not universal, you will need a Converter Step Down 220V to 110V. The reason I mention this is because of lots of questions about this unit taking a straight 240v and trying to plug into a 110v, it will not work. This is purely for a 240v/110v universal power source.

Easy to plug and unplug. Easy to pack and store. Light to carry.

When my mom visited USA, she needed an adapter for her medical device (the plus is for India). I came to BestBuy pretty late in the evening almost nearing closing time. The staff were extremely friendly and guided me to a couple of areas within the store where I may find the adapters. I looked at a few and they were so ridiculously priced. I was not even looking for a converter. I only needed an adapter. Another BestBuy person saw my dilemma and pointed me to a different section where I found the "Insignia" adapter. The price was moderate. But the quality of the product was amazing. Just looking at it, I decided I was going to buy. When I tried this on at home, it felt solid. Works like a charm and for the price, definitely worth it. I will highly recommend this. An of course, thank you BestBuy. Your customer service is, as always, awesome.

This power adapter is easy to use and charges very fast. It is perfect for any household sockets. The size is very easy to fit into and extension socket.

Small, well made and works well for adapting international plugs to US plugs

I received an electronic device from China but it required non-US outlet. I was thinking about ordering from Amazon but I needed it to work asap. I went to local BestBuy and picked up this unit. It works flawlessly. very happy with this purchase.

Does what it's supposed to. Not too bulky, supports European and Australian plugs, which is what I needed. Beware, this doesn't transform the current, so based on the appliance you want to plug, you might need something else (basically check that your appliance supports 110-220v)

This helped me a lot to connect my chargers bought from Europe and Asia during my travels. It gets the job done and the fit is quite good compared to those knockoff brands available elsewhere.

It is a solid gadget. Not sure if it is going to be useful for someone traveling outside US, but in turn will be essential for someone coming to US for business or vacation. At least for sout american plugs it is confirmed that works as expected.

Needed a power adapter to go from China power plug to US plug. This worked great. Keep in mind that this is just an adapter and not a power converter.

This unit fits securely into an American socket and is the right weight so that it wont pull out or fall out of the wall once you have something plugged into it - as was the case with the other brand-name travel adapters that I'd previously purchased. If you have an appliance with a European plug that you need to convert to an American socket - this is the unit you'll want to buy. This unit is made right (quality product with a ground) and priced right. So happy with this adapter!

Bought this adapter as a quick fix to compensate for a shipping error with a product from another company. It was perfect! Worked great! Note: Doesn't convert power just adapt so not good with hair dyers.
