I purchased this converter and tried to get it to work at the store. It doesn't work with the iPhone or the car. I then went to a local professional car audio company and asked what could be done and he said that there wasn't anything made for the vehicle or the apple device unless it was an aftermarket tv.

I really don't know. I don't use it on a mobile but it does work good on a Android TV box.
