No. This device accepts Audio and Video via the HDMI input and converts to the Legacy Composite Video (Yellow RCA) and Stereo Audio (Red & White RCA) connectors. What you need is actually a software package that comes with the adapter. Roxio Easy VHS to DVD for Mac!
