“I have a new Dell laptop with no VGA connection on it. My monitor is older HP LP2065 with DVI connection. I have a DVI >VGA cable currently being used with old laptop but If I put the Hdmi to VGA adapter on will the monitor work with the new laptop?”

• Yes it will work. If the monitor is older and you try to use the laptop screen as well as the monitor at the same time, you may have to play with the resolution to find an acceptable one that looks good on both screens, but that should be the only issue you have and that has nothing to do with the adapter.
