“Once you have your joy con connected, does the product charge to an outlet with the provided ac adapter ? Are there any attached (or stuck) cables to the charging station like the PowerA station has ?”

It has 4 slots for joy cons and a usb slot for pro controller. It charges with the provided ac adapter. You don’t need any other cables unless you plug usb in for pro controller.

The cable is solid and doesn't have a removable USB end (a feature found on many android phone chargers.) The product does have a USB type C outlet, but its intended use is to charge a Pro Controller and is not a power input.
