This headset provides no amplification. Try it and return it if it's not loud enough.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It has to be plugged in to a phone or other communications device to function, and the device must be operating (turned on). It is designed to be used as a convenient extension of the mic and speaker of the chosen device. I still use my in ear hearing aids for the additional amplification when using the headset.
