It is passive, straight through connections.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.pretty sure its a passive adapter as it did not function with my older samsung chronos which needs either an active adapter, or a mini dp to display port/hdmi cable to output the video signal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.its a 50/50 chance that it connected to my MacBook Pro when it comes to a simple USB. sometimes it will appear on my laptop sometimes it won't. Kinda gets annoying that you have to constantly connect and disconnect to finally get it to pop up in the system..
