• Yes it will work with your Samsung and no you won't need any extra cords. In my opinion the antenna gets better signal near a window. If your TV isn't close to one you might want a coaxial extension.

• Yes this will work on any type of television set there's a standard set of rules Pro transmission reception and they're also are compatible with each other so you should have no problem with that again it goes back to you in respect to where the transmitter from the television station is
