• Probably... it's not going to be like an outside antenna.... I live out in the country and mine is on the front patio next to a window and I still have a break in reception sometimes.

• Sounds like it needs to be placed at a window. Yes, it does make sense. I don't have concrete walls and there are some walls I have which I cannot place it on and get reception. I keep the box at a window to prevent the interference.
