A:AnswerI have tried this on my PC for live streaming and recently my Canon Vixia HF R700. it worked great on both devices but I don't have your camera
A:AnswerIt comes with a 1/4 inch adapter. You shouldn't need a pre-amp unless you have a very old and insensitive main-amplifier or the mike is too far away from the sound source. Clipped to your front collar should be fine.
A:AnswerIt should work with your GoPro7 since it specifically comes with a GoPro adapter and there is no significant sound difference with older GoPro's.
A:AnswerProbably not since most mic jacks have a feature to disconnect a built-in device (ex: mike) so both do not operate at once. The switch on this lapel mike is just to shut the power off and save the mike battery. You could just pull the plug when you want to switch mikes, but this will eventually wear out the jack from excessive use.
A:AnswerNo light just do a test record first. Some devices the Mic needs to be on and on others off. The microphone has a small built in all therapists the sound recording qualities of the microphone. The instructions included with The Mic are good guidelines to know what to do.
