You need to make sure the connection is orange and a digital cox connection for it to work. The receiver needs to have the orange connection for the digital cox for this connector to work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YOU CAN CONNECT YOUR RECEIVER TO THE OUTPUT OF THE CONVERTER BOX BUT IT IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT YOU WOULD EVER BE ABLE TO USE AN OLD MOVIE PROJECTOR WITH IT BECAUSE NONE OF THEM HAD DIGITAL AUDIO OUTPUTS ON THEM WHEN MANUFACTURED. IF BY SOME FLUKE IT DID HAVE AN OPTICAL TOSLINK CONNECTION THEN YOUR IN BUSINESS BUT IT'S HIGHLY UNLIKELY. IF YOUR PROJECTOR HAS ANY AUDIO OUTPUT AT ALL IT'S LIKELY JUST A STANDARD ANALOG OUTPUT IN WHICH CASE ALL YOU WOULD NEED WOULD BE A CABLE CONNECTION ONLY. HOPE THE ABOVE HELPS YOU.
