• This is not the device you need. This is used to convert digital optical audio to analog audio connections. Such as between a newer TV and an older home theater system.

• Probably not since the is no interface for a phone. However, is your printer capable of a wireless connection with your phone? if so, you could print out a hard copy of the fax then transmit it.
