Hello, It will work for any use where a regular size USB connector will work. That’s all this does. It connects a regular size (size A) USB male connector to a micro USB male connector. More to the point, it converts a regular size USB connector into a micro USB connector so that you can connect all your old USB devices into newer (but not as new as C USB connectors) or smaller devices having only micro USB female ports. That having been explained, I doubt (but do not know) that a USB mic intended to be used with a PC will work with an Android phone, an issue different from whether this adapter will connect the correct leads from one device to the other.
