Does This Work Any Controllers At All null

Not from personal experience but, my brother used this to plug in and xbox controller and it worked like a charm.

Seems to work an XBOX360 on any NEWER android (6 or later) I've tried it on. It does NOT WORK on any 2012-2015 vintage SamSung hardware I have that is running ANY Android 5 or earlier, regardless of which version. I do not know if that is a hardware, software or general system issue. Also, older and less popular Android apps don't seem to recognize it even on modern 6-7 android, but more recent apps (Roblox, Minecraft) work fine with it. (Less than helpful, I know; But its all I can share).
