You can install it anywhere but it would depend on the signals in your area. I would recommend adding a powered signal booster between the tv and the antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm sure it could. I've only had mine sitting out on the deck, haven't had the chance to mount it yet, and I went from getting 4 channels to receiving 32.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I lived in a travel trailer for a year and a half. Only an antenna specifically designed for travel trailer use should be used whether it's an over the air antenna or satellite dish. The reason is wind and traveling. If you tried to leave this mounted when driving down the road it most likely won't survive at speeds above 35 miles per hour or hitting low branches of trees. Also straight line winds like they have in the flat states like Texas, Oklahoma, etc. often reach 50 to 75 mph. I saw many regular antennas mangled in those winds. To repeatedly mount and dismount will quickly become a pain. Special designed travel trailer antennas are flat horizontally to better survive strong winds. Also they have a device that's put inside the trailer so you can raise or lower the antenna in a minute and the antenna will sit flat against the roof so it's not damaged during travel. It will also allow you to point the antenna and change direction in seconds.Google travel trailer accessories and you should find a nearby seller to purchase such an antenna and most have technicians that can install it and weather proof your roof after. The store can also answer any questions you have and suggest supplies needed. NEVER under any circumstances use a household indoor or outdoor power cord to supply the power to your trailer. ALWAYS use RV approved power cords for supplying the power to your circuit breaker box. A trailer will go from small fire to completely engulfed in 30 seconds. The very thin wood walls are just like kindling. It is OK to use household extension cords ONLY inside the trailer as you would in a house. Best of luck
