“I have these headphones connected to my Directv box and they work fine. When I go from the source HDMI 1 which is where my tv is connected, to HDMI 2 where I have Netflix, etc. connected, the headphones don't work. Any suggestions? Thanks.”

I would ask you if you have tried connecting the headphones to your tv. It might work with your hdmi 1 and 2 just fine.

Please try again later.If your TV has an optical digital audio slot, you need to get an optical digital cable and connect it from the tv to a digital to analogue converter (Best Buy Insignia) then use the red and white audio cables to go from the converter to the headphones base. I had exact same issue. You can then disconnect the box to headphone connection.See my review on the converter.
