I have not tried to remove mine. I have only had mine for about a month. I attached mine to a case. I would not attach it direct to a phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It adheres very well to my phone's. You need to use alcohol to get it off. It doesn't damage the phones

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there If you have ever used a popsocket, it's similar to that. They adhere pretty firm so you don't drop your phone, but a little extra force will remove the ring. It won't damage your phone to pull the ring off, and it should stick to a leather iPhone case, however plastic might prove a little better for this guy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As for removal: Haven't removed mine yet, but, given the glue factor, try to remove it by using a flat, hard piece of plastic (assure the plastic edges are smooth), scraping under and going around the edges of the gadget in a gentle but pressured action. Also, try adding a small amount of Goo Gone product, while working around and under the gadget, it will help loosen the glue. Next, try a small amount of full strength Dawn dish detergent on a smooth microfiber cloth (like the kind used for wiping eye glasses) with warm water to wash and rinse. Dry with another piece of microfiber cloth. Patience is the key. You could also, for about $7-$8 (don't quote me on the price, it could cost a little more) take it to your Best Buy store and have their friendly, Geek Squad guys/gals do it for you. As for adhering to leather, pretty sure it will, but, don't expect to ever remove it, it will damage the leather. All information above is at your own risk. Good luck and have patience. 9adget5
