Is the range of the Bluetooth really only 8-10 feet?? null

I found that the range was much farther than 10 ft, I would say more around the 15 to 20 where it starts dropping out, even through walls in my experience. Hope that helps.

I was able to go farther than that in my house. I crossed the hall from one room to another on the other side of the house with no issues. I walked downstairs with my device and was able to get into the front room of the house downstairs with connection but any further then that and it started to lose connection. Definitely more than 8-10 feet...at least in my house! I'm not an expert but in my opinion compared to other bluetooth speakers I've had it has decent range for a bluetooth speaker.

I have gotten more range than that with mine. I have had my speaker in one room and my phone in the other room and they were still connected.

I found the range to be up to about 20 feet but that is without obstructions. Standing between the speaker and the source blocks the signal at 10 feet.
