“why doesn't my bluetooth speaker turn on? I can't turn my bluetooth speaker on and i don't know why and it don't hold charge either.i go to plug it in and the red light comes on after an hour if that the light goes away.than i go turn it on nothing happens not a blue light comes on.i don't know what to do.i had this speaker for a week and can't figure it out.please help.”

It sounds like you just need to pair your device to it. you would do that in the bluetooth settings on your phone or tablet when you scan it will come up as np-scbtbrick I think just select it and once paired it should work.

Charging is accomplished through the micro-USB on the back under the rubber cover. Turn the power button to "On" on the back when you are ready to use it and to "Off" when done. If the switch is set to the battery symbol on the back, it is in external charging mode, and the USB port on the output is activated to charge or power other devices. I am not sure that it will charge or act as a speaker if you have the switch set to that mode. The other connection is to hardwire it to any devices stereo output that doesn't have a blue tooth connection or that you do not want to use the blue tooth connection. Hopefully your trouble is only caused by no knowing how to use the switch on the back and not a defective speaker.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have two of them and my grandson has one and they all hold a charge for a long time. Maybe you have a faulty one. Maybe you should exchange it for a different one because it certainly doesn't sound like it's working appropriately. Good luck!

Go to your setting, Select blue tooth once there click give it a moment to find mini Bose click and you are connected. If this do not work press all three top button until the light up green release it clear all passed connection. The make it easy to connect your new device! Thanks you.
