Depends on the TV. It is bluetooth so if you have a new enough TV, you can stream the audio to the speaker. I tried it and it worked, but the TV does not play sound from it's own speakers when using the bluetooth signal, so it's an either/or type of situation. Also it does have a 3.5 mm audio input on the back, so if your TV has an audio output, you could hardwire it to the speaker.
