• instead of turning the device off, push the pause button to hibernate the disc that way when you come back all you will have to do is push the pause button again and pick up where you left off.

• You can pause the cd to return to it later, but if the power is turned off there is no way to return to the same spot.

• When I shut off the CD player, and turn it back on later it starts from where I shut it down, as long as you do not take the cd out
