Press and Hold the off button until it says goodbye.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am on my 2nd one - the first lasted 4-5 years of daily use - I noted I had to just hold the button down firmly for a bit longer. On occasion I find the same with the new one...I hold down the button until I see the word "Goodbye". I'm assuming that these buttons, like those on your keyboard have a silicone pad behind them...maybe they're affected by temperature, lol. If holding down unil you see "Goodbye" doesn't work? remove the batteries. If this happens every time and the warranty is still active, I'd take back to sore for replacement. If it's as old as my first was....the newer one with the FM radio has great bass which can be toggled on or off.
