Yes it can. I change my 7 on it now and my girlfriend charges her 6 on it also. As long as you have the correct current the device allows and it doesn't overdo the power charger, you should be fine.

my wife has iphone 6 and it works fine. BUT you will have to use the cord that came with the phone as the cord that comes with this is mini usb and wont fit iphone...
