• You may need to "unlock" the controls. There is a lever switch on the top that "locks" all of the front panel controls to keep you from adjusting any of them accidentally by brushing the unit up against anything.

• First, push the power button to turn on the radio. If the radio produces sound, turn it off and follow directions for setting the time. Make sure the headphone jack is plugged into the headphone socket. Most times, when I install new batteries the radio goes back to its default settings. You probably have to reset everything as you did when you first got the radio.
