sounds like a compressor issue or theres a leak of refrigerant somewhere

Hi, Have you tried using cold water? I have a filtered water pitcher that I keep in the fridge and I just refill the icemaker with that water. I've had mine for over 2 months and the ice is quick to make. If that doesn't help contact the manufacturer.
