“After sitting all winter empty, filled with water to top plugged in and it faults to add water, water resavor is full. Unplugged and tried a couple times still faults”

Maybe fill it with hot water and let it sit for a few minutes. Chances are the float mechanism is stuck from sitting and needs to be freed up? I haven’t had mine long enough to see if will happen to mine so this is just a possibility? Good Luck
