“I have had this for about eight months. I haven’t used it in a few weeks and just got it out. It makes a very loud sound when I turn it on then the fan runs but it won’t make any ice. Any troubleshooting? I’ve tried turning it off and on.”

I've had mine longer than yours and mine died also it's dead apparently these things are not made to last a long time yours is within the one-year warranty I think you can try seeing how good they are.
