It plugs into a wall, and you add water by opening the main lid and pouring it in. Just under the ice bucket

It plugs in like a regular appliance would, you lift the ice cube basket to add water, good machine for the price. Add the plan for a minimal expense the last one lasted 14 months, had the plan and got a new one with a plan for about $4.

Yes, this plugs into a normal wall outlet. No, it does not hook up to a water line, you have to put water in it when it runs out. You should put fresh water in it daily and clean it at least weekly. The drain plug is super handy.

This unit plugs into a normal house outlet. You add water by opening up the front lid and just dumping it down into a reservoir, there is a fill line, but you basically go to the bottom of the basket that’s in there.

You will need to plug it in, and add water to it as needed to make ice.

You need to constantly fill with water in the same compartment where the basket is located. You fill that with water and the ice basket will sit right above it which is why you only fill to the marked water line. There is no water hookup.
