Yes you can, you'll need either a Bluetooth connection with your desktop/laptop and you can stream the music through your computer to the speakers, or an aux audio cable and you can play directly through the speakers whether the computer is on or not

of course you can! The speakers come with an aux cable. they're not bluetooth though

Yes, worked great with my Samsung s4 active. I used the normal hookup rather than the aux port. This is only because I don't own one of the cables.
