At first when i was putting it together, the subwoofer barely made any noise till i plugged.the additional speakers and it work perfectly. If you don't have them anymore try some other speakers with the same plug. Hope this help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had similar problem. I didn't realize that the power switch was on the volume control paddle. Other than that is the usual yet obvious question. Is it plugged into a working outlet. That's about it. If not, you may need to have a repair expert look at it or seek replacement. And also, did you try putting another speaker into the jack...maybe some old headphones...since you stated you only had subwoofer and no actual speakers, it may need something plugged into the connector on the sub woofer to make it work..Good Luck.
