• No, manufacture have different code ; therefore, you needs get a programable Remote with learning so it can learn/program per your preference TV/devices

• We tried it, but we could'nt get the remote to work. No fault of Bestbuy, the tv would'nt even allow us to use our blue ray. We have since found the original remote and will check that out in the near future.
