• When you say this remote works with MOST SONY TVs isn't promissing, 40.00 bucks is alot to spend on a remote that should work with MOST sony TVS ....

• It supposedly works with any Sony TV unless it is very very old. My Sony TV is approximately 16 years old and it works perfectly ! All I did was the auto code search and all of the features and controls of the remote work with it.
