“Have an Insignia TV 40" model NS-40D5 (bought 2020), will these headphones work and are all necessary cables included w/docking station? TV only has digital optical output & 3.5mm audio out jack.”

They work perfectly. I use them at night to not disturb anyone else in the house. Mine were open box though so not sure if they come with the wires, mine did not. But, I suggest buying a good optical cable as the ones that come with things are not usually top quality. Keep the dock away from your router and modem as it can interfere with the headphones.
