If you get a buzzing sound from the headphones, it means that something nearby is causing interference. Unfortunately, the are a lot of things that may cause interference. A radio, phone, streaming stick, or even a microwave oven can cause interference. Whatever is causing the interference is close to either the base unit or the headset, so the only thing I can recommend is the old fashioned trial and error. If you can, try moving the base to a different spot, even if its just the other side of the TV. If the base unit is near a clock radio, try moving that.

While frequency interference is also likely to lead to the buzzing sound issue, you can't ignore the audio output disturbances. Apart from that, the hardware issue can result in the buzzing sound from the headphones.
