• Yes. I turn the TV volume down to silent and I can still adjust the volume I hear using the headphones.

• Yes. The volume on the headphones can be adjusted separately from the volume on the TV and vice versa.

• There is a volume button on the headset itself and both sides, left and right together, are adjusted with that button. On my TV, adjusting the headset volume does not effect the TV volume. In other words, one person can be listening through the headset while another is just listening to the regular TV speakers.
