Will this work with a dvd drive null

I’m not sure if it would supply enough power to do that. It doesn’t supply enough power to run a 3.5 inch HDD

Hi Gggh! Thanks for checking! The Insignia SATA to USB-C Adapter (NS-PACS2B25) is made for 2.5” SATA hard drives or SSDs, so it won’t work with a DVD drive. DVD drives usually need a different adapter and extra power. Jeth | Insignia Support.
