It doesn’t go all the way to the edge. I have a case on mine that goes right up to the screen and there was a small space in between where the case stopped and the screen protector started.

Due to the curvature of the glass around the bezels of the phone this glass screen protector covers the display portion of the front glas only (to prevent a “halo” effect caused by lifting of the screen protector) which also makes this a case friendly screen protector. I’ve put several brand and styles of case on my X with no problems. Most edge to edge screen protectors have the unfortunate side effect of reducing touch sensitivity due to the design of the screen protector.

Yes - we had the store install it and they did a great job. There is also a Zagg kiosk in the nearby mall that handles warranty items and will install a replacement if needed for $10 labor but no charge for the product. They even have a machine there to make a custom cover for anything including Apple Watch -- but we decided NOT to do that.
