How it goes to the highest setting and you have to reduce it from there every time
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The default is the highest setting. You can change it while it’s heating up
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not save the last setting. Mine starts at a power setting of 8 and a temperature of 450 when it starts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you have to set the temp or power level every time. When I cook, I usually use 7 or 8 to get it boiling, then power down to 2 or 3 to simmer. It resets when you turn it off. There is no default temp or power setting. Every time you use it and turn it on, it goes to max power setting, or max temp. You plug it in, hit start, then hit either power or temp and touch the down arrow to set the desired temp or power. It always starts out at max settings, you press the down arrow, it goes to power level 8, 7, 6, etc. It's a good unit, I like it. This heats up water faster than my gas stove and even faster than my microwave.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s ok.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not save last setting. When you first turn it on it starts at the highest temperature or power level. You get a choice of either temperature or power level. I have better luck with power levels.
