No. It needs to circulate the air for internal cooling so the bottom and sides need air flow. I think there are induction stoves that are designed to be installed in a countertop but not these portable single pan stoves.

No. This unit has to be counter top use. It has vents that can not be blocked.

No installation required. Just set it on a counter like a toaster. I use this outside to cook smelly food.

Now it's like a portable hot plate
