This tray will work in a 3.5" drive bay. It is meant for that application as most laptops use a 2.5" drive bay.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This item allows you to attach a 2.5" drive to it. The bracket provides holes to mount it as a 3.5" drive. I would think it should work in your situation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need additional hard drive brackets to fit in 3.5” bays
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.probably if you have the 3.5 bay, it fit the bay exactly so if you cant remove the tray it probably will be too wide
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The kit is designed for this very purpose. Allowing you to use the kit to install the ssd into a normal 3.5 hard drive slot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's meant to fit into a 3.5" bay. I've used it successfully in 2 desktop PC's thus far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used Velcro to attach the mount inside the case of my mini tower Inspiron. But I didn't want to take computer apart any further to try and mount it any other way. Works fine for me!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the computer chassis has a couple of 3.5 inch bays above the ones with slides, then this is where it would go. Otherwise need to contact Dell to try to get appropriate slide trays.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yeah oh course
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This mount works well for installing various 2.5" drives in 3.5" drive slots. I prefer the Corsair, since that one allows for mounting of two 2.5" drives and gives better airflow, but many times do not have the time to wait for that to come from Amazon. When I need the mount now, this does the job and is something that I can pick up local. I use these exclusively for installing SSD upgrades into computers currently using HDDs, but any laptop drive can be mounted with this. This works with the computer cases that have the plastic rails or the plastic caddies with the metal pins that insert into the screw holes.
I would recommend:
