• Alas, this lone item seems to be the last run of HD usable outside the car....those other brands with HD, all out of production, an over-list-priced hot-seller at auction sites

• Not that I know of the radio works on DC and or AC. Which is nice when traveling. If you have a cell phone they usually have alarm clocks and clock.
